Erga was founded in 1980. We work in the fields of architectural and engineering design, interiors, landscaping, construction supervision and project management.
Having acquired extensive professional experience, Erga is fully qualified to undertake the design, execution, administration, feasibility and direct supervision of the projects entrusted to the group; which enables Erga to succeed as a multidisciplinary firm, and to ensure full attention is given to every project, be it small or large, local or regional.

The Company was founded
Despite the bad situation, Elie Gebrayel and Randa Faddoul, two young architects graduating from the Lebanese University, shared their dreams, married, and brought Erga to life in 1980 from the rooftop of a building. Erga is an abbreviation for Elie & Randa Gebrayel Architects.
The First Revolutionary Step
That year, Erga took its first revolutionary step by becoming one of the few architectural offices to draft on computers: the project Rocas Doradas in Spain was the first to be drawn solely on the earliest version of AutoCAD, and it was during this time that Erga acquired its first computer.
New Erga Offices
When the reconstruction of Lebanon began, Erga International was founded. Over the next few years, Erga designed more than 27 buildings and oversaw over 35 other sites. The company Controtek was established, followed by Erga Holding and Erga Management. After winning several international competitions, the projects spread to Dubai, Riyadh and Jeddah, resulting in the establishment of Erga Saudi Lebanese in Riyadh and Jeddah and Erga Progress in Dubai.
Erga's Golden Year
Erga continued to work on landmark projects all over the Middle East and Africa, including Sama Beirut, BeitMisk, Sama Mekka, Riyadh Municipality HQ, and Zenith Tower. Erga Qatar and Erga France were founded.
Erga New Perspective
Erga established a Sustainability Strategic Plan focusing mainly on incorporating green systems in the majority of Erga projects.
This year, Erga's highlight projects included the Credit Libanais HQ, the Lebanese National Library, and the Beirut Green River, to name a few.
Erga Through The Pandemic
It was a survival period where all staff members had to work from home and the company shifted to Cloud. Design projects were managed online while safety measures were wisely taken for site supervision projects. When Covid was coming to an end the comeback of the teams to the offices happened gradually.
Erga Expansion Worldwide
After the hard worldwide period, Erga focused on its big projects on site for the world cup in Qatar, the big booming cities in Saudi Arabia and Egypt as well its landmark projects in UAE. Erga opened new satellite offices in Georgia and in several countries in Africa.
